Annual Giving – Planting Today – $4 million over 5 years
Help us plant the seeds today that nurture our vibrant WSMS community.

Annual Giving supports WSMS’ operating budget each year, enabling our school to blossom with possibility every day and making a difference for every WSMS child by supporting:

  • Our financial aid program assists approximately 20% of our enrolled families. This year, our financial aid budget has grown from$1.5 million to $1.8 million.
  • Teacher professional development and salaries
  • Teacher Education Program (WSMS-TEP) scholarships
  • Classroom materials
 
How Annual Giving works:
  • Annual Fund – The powerhouse of our Annual Giving, runs year-round, July 1 to June 30. We ask every enrolled family to participate; our goal is 100% participation. Last year, we achieved a record-breaking 95% participation and maintained 100% participation from the Board of Trustees. When we come together, we create meaningful impact. Every gift counts, and every contribution matters.
  • Events:
    • Fall Festival – A wonderfully fun community event held in October. While the Fall Festival is a community-building event, not a fundraiser, we ask for 100% tax-deductible donations through underwriting to cover its cost. Any proceeds go to Annual Giving.
    • Auction – Our beloved spring community celebration and fundraiser.
