Homestead School is a Montessori and permaculture based school situated on a serene 100 acre campus abundant with fields, forests, streams, ponds, and wildlife. Just two hours north of New York City, our Upper Elementary students have ready access to both natural world and cultural world learning.

- Montessori Early Childhood(or LE or UE) certification or training complete (AMI, AMS, or MACTE-accredited program) required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education(change of language depending on the position), Child Development, or a related field desired
- State teaching credential or early childhood permit (change of language depending on the position/ as required by local regulations) desired
- Experience working with children ages 2.5–6(change of language depending on the position) in a Montessori or early childhood setting required
- Experience working in a mixed-age classroom desired
