| Description of Position | Join our talented team in an established and verified American Montessori Society school where we inspire children to become intrinsically motivated lifelong learners. Enjoy our respectful and collaborative environment with highly supportive leadership from a Montessori-credentialed and experienced Head of School. We are seeking a Primary (3-6) teacher with an AMS credential or AMI diploma or an adult learner enrolled in a MACTE-accredited training program to guide children 3 to 6 years of age on their journey to independence. The teacher will lead the classroom team in developing a peaceful and nurturing environment in which children will develop and grow socially, cognitively, emotionally, and physically. Our ideal candidate embraces the Montessori philosophy and has a genuine passion for working with children as well as the principles of equity and social justice. A strong work ethic and the ability to build supportive relationships with children, parents, and community members are required in this position. |
| Qualifications | AMS credential, AMI diploma, or an adult learner currently enrolled in a MACTE-accredited training program. We value candidates with a love of learning and the ability to work collaboratively to ensure we provide the highest quality Montessori environment. A joyful and positive nature, professionalism, and excellent written and oral communication skills are essential to this position. |
