Full-Time Nanny / Montessori-Inspired Caregiver in Greenwich, CT
We're a warm, organized family in Greenwich seeking a full-time nanny to care for our curious and joyful 1-year-old daughter. This role is ideal for someone with a Montessori background or training in early childhood education who's excited to nurture a love of learning through structured, meaningful play.
We're looking for someone reliable, calm, and developmentally minded—someone who thrives on routine, creates enriching environments, and is passionate about supporting a child's growth with intention and care.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Responsibilities
- Providing loving, attentive care for our 1-year-old
- Maintaining her feeding, nap, and activity schedule
- Planning age-appropriate, Montessori-aligned activities
- Supporting early milestones and independence-building skills
- Light housekeeping related to the child, such as tidying shared spaces, loading the dishwasher, and handling laundry
Qualifications
You Might Be a Great Fit If You:
- Have at least 2 years of professional nanny experience (not informal babysitting)
- Can provide at least two strong references from previous nanny families
- Speak fluent English; Spanish is a plus
- Have a background in Montessori, child development, or early childhood education (preferred but not required)
- Are structured, organized, and love helping children thrive in calm, tidy spaces
- Have reliable transportation to and from our home (public transit is perfectly fine)
- Are open to occasional travel—we sometimes spend time in other locations like Miami
