Responsibilities:
- Teach and supervise all students in the Montessori Method and curriculum in all academic and specialty areas of study.
- Prepare materials and maintain their cleanliness and good condition/repair
- Be responsible for the safety and physical well-being of all students in your charge at all times.
- Prepare and have available weekly lesson plans and record students’ progress.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices.
- Strong classroom management skills to create a structured and engaging learning environment.
- Ability to adapt lesson plans to meet the individual needs of each child.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
Qualifications
Bachelors (preferred)
Montessori Certification (or in process )
Classroom experience is a plus
