Montessori Lead Primary Guide (3-6 year old)

Job Description: The ideal candidate for this position is Montessori trained and has experience in the Primary Montessori classroom. They are comfortable teaching any lesson in the environment, can work positively with a team and help train the assistants as they become more experienced in Montessori and our particular school setting. This position can be part time or full time from December through the end of May. The position will become full time for the 2024-2025 school year. Responsibilities include: Preparing classroom environment, parent teacher conferences, planning curriculum, observation and record keeping, classroom management, collaborating with colleagues, assistants, admin and parents.

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in the Education or Human Services field of study. Preferable with PA Teaching Certificate for Nursery/Kindergarten, AMI, AMS or NAMC Credential in Early Childhood but not a must. Knowledge of the Montessori Method, 3-5 years experience in preschool environments, Montessori environment is a plus, great organizational, computer, and administrative skills.
