Hudson Montessori School is seeking an Elementary teacher for a multi-age (1st-3rd grade) class to work in a collaborative classroom setting in an innovative program. We are looking for candidates who bring creativity, excellent relationship skills, and a collaborative approach to their craft. We seek a professional who is energetic, has a positive attitude, and is a self-starter. Hudson Montessori School is fully committed to a culturally diverse faculty and staff body. Our teachers must provide a secure environment to learn, care for and support the developmental needs of each child - using differentiation to assist the development of a child's personal, social and language abilities, speech and communication, mathematical and creative development. The ideal candidate must have the following:
· Bachelor’s degree, and has completed Montessori certification or is currently pursuing certification.
· Excellent classroom management skills.
· The ability to implement curriculum, and work with others in a positive collaborative team environment.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Experience in a Montessori classroom is a plus.
