Catskill Montessori School (CMS) is a private, nonprofit Montessori school rooted in the permaculture ethics of People Care, Earth Care, and Fair Share. Located on 63 acres in the Hudson Valley- between the Catskill Mountains and the Mahicannituck- we serve children from toddlers through 8th grade in a campus that includes historic barns, outdoor classrooms, a working farm, and forested learning spaces.
We are seeking a creative, collaborative Early Childhood Co-Lead Guide to join our 3-6 team. This role works alongside another Lead Guide and an Assistant to create a warm, engaging Montessori environment that supports independence, curiosity, and respect for each child.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates:
Hold a MACTE/AMI/AMS 3-6 credential (or are in training)
Have experience in a Montessori classroom
Value collaboration, thoughtful classroom management, and child-centered guidance
Align with CMS’s values of people care, earth care, and fair share
Are comfortable using Google Workspace and basic technology
Are interested in outdoor education, farming, or permaculture (a plus!)
Are legally authorized to work in the U.S.

$51,000- $64,650
