ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Children's Guide to support our educational team in creating engaging, meaningful experiences for children ages 3 and up in our Montessori inspired children’s space.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist lead guides in facilitating daily workshops for children
- Support implementation of Montessori-inspired activities
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming learning environment
- Assist with basic administrative tasks under supervision
- Support event preparation and setup
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team atmosphere
- Help manage basic member interactions
- Assist with social media content collection (under team supervision)
Qualifications
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong interest in child development and education
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Patience and enthusiasm when working with children
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in education, child development, or related field
- Basic computer and organizational skills
- Commitment to creating a supportive learning environment
- Legally authorized to work in the USA
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree
- 0-3 years of related experience
- Internship or volunteer experience with children preferred
- Basic understanding of child development principles
Salary
Part-time: $25 per hour
