Following Department of Education Calendar and 7 week summer program
AMS
-Maintain AMS (American Montessori Society) Membership
-Keep track of current credentialed guides status/training
STAFF
-Hold biweekly staff meetings
-Hire Staff and Sub Staff
-Arrange for Sub in teacher absences or step in if not sub available
-Maintain Current Records of Staff
-Submit Central Background Clearances for Staff prior to employment
-Maintain Staff schedules with Lunch breaks and Extended Day Schedule
-Create Classroom Schedules
-Provide monthly workshop/learning opportunities
-Observe classrooms/curriculum
-Host bi-annual parent/teacher conferences (zoom) in November/April
-Provide afternoon enrichment with enrichment teachers (yoga, music, french)
-Revise Employee Handbook annually
-Hold bi annual meeting with individual staff, goal setting in September and Reflections in June
-Create annual employment agreement
FAMILIES
-Tour new/prospective Families
-General communication with enrolled/new/prospective families
-Revise Parent Handbook annually
-Create Enrollment Agreement for new students, ensure timely receipt, communication w/families
-Finalize enrollment agreements with new families after tour/application received
ADMIN
-Daily attendance required when school is in session
-Run a monthly fire drill
-Knowledge of and stay in compliance with article 47
-Brightwheel (application used for all communication/tuition with families and staff): Add staff/Add New Admissions
-Collect content for monthly newsletter/create newsletter on brightwheel
-maintain records/forms of students
-Order inventory as needed
-Maintain financial records on Brightwheel of tuition and extra fees
-Create sign up sheets for all events (Monthly PJ/Movie night, mini camps, summer camp, parent/teacher conference, etc)
-Create attendance rosters for school year, mini camps, camp
-maintain fire extinguishers
-Maintain Fire Alarm System inspections/F05 Status
-Oversee Yearbook creation
