Description of Position | The Montessori Curriculum Director is an integral part of the senior administrative team who is responsible for overseeing and supporting the implementation of Montessori curriculum and instructional practices and to refine and maintain a high-quality Montessori program throughout the school. This position will begin no later than August 1, 2024. Our current Curriculum Director will be returning from maternity leave in July and transitioning to the role of Director of Admissions and Communications upon their return. There is a solid framework in place for the new Curriculum Director to step into, and they will have the support of both the current Curriculum Director, as well as the Assistant Director and Head of School. The Montessori Curriculum Director ensures successful the day-to-day implementation of the Montessori Curriculum by fulfilling the following responsibilities: Responsibilities Include: - Contribute toward creating a positive and loving and inclusive school environment for students, parents, staff, and community members that embraces and elevates diverse perspectives, cultures, backgrounds, and identities. |
Qualifications | Job Qualifications* To be eligible for the position of Curriculum Director, Employee must have a minimum of the following : - A Montessori Early Childhood Teaching Certificate from AMS, AMI, or MACTE accredited institution |
