Montessori Children’s House (MCH) is seeking a Primary lead teacher to co-teach for the 2024-25 school year. MCH, founded in 1976, is located in the beautiful and historical small city of Providence, RI, and boasts a diverse community of learners.

We are seeking a self-directed, highly motivated, and open minded individual with a strong understanding of Montessori theory. We are looking for an experienced educator to join our team as a co-lead teacher. Each teacher is expected to work collaboratively with all staff, setting an example for students. Teachers also promote and encourage the emotional, social and cognitive well-being of students, while maintaining an authentic Montessori environment.

BA/BS degree required
American Montessori Society (AMS) or Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) teaching credentials for Early Childhood required
Willingness to work with a team
Strong communication skills
