After Lunch Bunch (For Five-Year-Olds)
After Lunch Bunch (ALB) is a daily program for children in the 9-3 and LAP programs who will have turned five by December 31 of the current school year. Children meet together after lunch (rather than have a rest period) for approximately 90 minutes for lessons on topics such as muscles and exercise, architecture, agriculture, geography, community, vocabulary, culture and diversity. ALB teachers expose children to many topics so they can discover their passions and interests. ALB gives five-year-olds an opportunity to build excitement for learning in a more formal setting, similar to what they may encounter in Kindergarten.
